CrashPlan Forum Re-Organization

Recent Forum Changes

We recently re-organized our forums. The information previously posted in the Releases and Known Issues forums and Technical Bulletins forum has been moved. Topics are now being posted in the following locations:

  • Announcements Forum
    Product release notifications, software updates, Customer Champion Support hours and other announcements for CrashPlan, CrashPlan PRO and CrashPlan PROe. Topics are posted by Code 42's product and support teams and are viewable without logging into the forums.  Only Code 42 can post new topics or comment on topics.
  • Answers From Support
    Best practices, workarounds, technical troubleshooting, known issues or other technical topics for CrashPlan, CrashPlan PRO and CrashPlan PROe. Topics are posted by Code 42's Customer Champions and technical experts and are viewable without logging into the forums. Only Code 42 can post new topics or comment on topics.
If you have previously subscribed to Releases and Known Issues or Technical Bulletins via email or RSS, please update your subscription. To stay up to date on new topics posted in the new forums, please see How To Subscribe To Forums Via Email Or RSS.

We also created a new forum within the Announcements and General Topics category of our forums page:

To provide better communication to our customers, we created this forum. Posts in this forum include:
  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Service interruptions
  • Resolved events

Click the "subscribe" link in the top right corner of the forum page to receive email notifications for any topics added to this section.  The Announcements Forum will exclude future announcements for system and network maintenance.  Instead, this information will be posted specifically to this forum section.
