RESOLVED: Sep 30: Intermittent Connectivity Issues: CrashPlan for Enterprise, CrashPlan PRO and CrashPlan for Home

[UPDATE 9/30/16 9:01PM CST: The intermittent connectivity problems have been resolved for the majority of affected customers.]

Issue Summary

We are currently experiencing intermittent connectivity issues with some of our cloud services.

Affected Services

CrashPlan for Enterprise, CrashPlan PRO and CrashPlan for Home customers may not be able to: 

  • Access restore from the CrashPlan app
  • Access web restore or friend restore
  • Create a new account
  • Sign into the CrashPlan app
  • Make changes to account configuration, such as:
    • Adopting a computer
    • Adding a destination
    • Other changes to backup or account settings

Unaffected Services

CrashPlan's backup functionality for all existing customers continues uninterrupted.

Our engineering team is actively working to resolve the issue.

We're currently taking steps to resolve the issues we’ve identified. Intermittent connectivity issues may continue as the resolution is rolled out.
