When backing up with CrashPlan for Small Business, you may need to ensure that the Code42 app does not use certain networks. This could be because you are using a slower VPN connection, or you need to ensure CrashPlan does not use a metered connection like your cellular device or hotspot.
The Code42 app uses the primary network interface assigned by your operating system. If the primary interface is excluded, the Code42 app blocks backup activity, even if other network interfaces are available.
